Having trouble in background noise?

Deciphering speech in the presence of background noise is unfortunately a common problem. Recent advancements in hearing aid technology overcome this common complaint with the use of:

We offer a full range of hearing aid styles...

...including the latest Open-Fit Receiver in Canal models - the latest in hearing aid technology. You will hear things you haven't heard in years and forget that you're wearing a hearing aid.

Cosmetic Hearing aids have come a long way. Open-Fit offer a small cosmetic solution when compared to conventional hearing aids. Their discreet design makes them hardly noticeable.
Comfort Open-Fit hearing aids are light-weight by design, which means they fit comfortably on your ear. Also, since your ear canal remains open you won't experience the "plugged" feeling often associated with traditional styles.
Clarity Open-Fit models focus on delivering high pitch sounds to your ear, which are crucial in understanding speech and providing clearer communication. In addition, Open-Fit hearing aids allow both natural and amplified sound to enter into your ear.

In addition, we offer fully digital traditional hearing aid styles:

Your hearing aids will be custom made and individually programmed to suit your particular hearing loss and circumstances.

The fitting process

When you are ready to trial hearing aids, we would typically take you through the following 5-step process:

1. Hearing Assessment - we conduct a comprehensive assessment of your hearing, determine the extent and nature of any hearing loss, discuss your listening environment (e.g. meetings, work, home) and your hearing needs (e.g. to hear your grandchildren & TV better).

2. Hearing Aid Discussion - we will explain in detail the different hearing aid styles, brands, technologies, features & benefits along with price options based on your hearing loss and preferences for aesthetics, usage, comfort and budget. If you hold a Pension or Veteran's card, you may be eligible for fully-subsidised hearing aids.

3. Impression - if necessary, we will take the shape of your ear to ensure the hearing aid fits your distinct ear shape for optimal comfort and security.

4. Fitting - generally 1-2 weeks after your hearing assessment, we will fit you with your new hearing aids, program them to match your particular hearing loss, and explain how to use & care for your hearing aids (e.g. changing the battery, regular maintenance, etc...)

5. Review - generally 1 week after fitting, we will gauge your feedback on how your hearing aids are assisting you and then fine-tune your hearing aids to ensure maximum hearing improvement in every listening situation.

One or two hearing aids?

Monocles are not that common nowadays and for good reason. If both your eyes were far-sighted, you wouldn't even consider a monocle. Just as nature intended, seeing with two eyes allows for depth perception... and the same applies to your hearing.
