Let's hear it
for wine

Drinking red wine can stop you losing your hearing in later life, according to American research. The wine counter- acts ear damage such as that said to be caused by loud noise or antibiotics. Antioxidants in red wine can help neutralise free radicals, which can damage hairs in the inner ear. Green tea and aspirin have similar effects.
